Application Features:
- Water-repellent / Water Proof Treatment.
Imparting water repellence to:- Gypsum and Gypsum-based fibre boards.
- Low-fired clay product’s immediately after they have been made: e.g. roof tiles, facing bricks and floor tiles.
- Light fillers, such as perlite, vermiculites and aerated concrete granules.

How to Use:
NKV HYDROSEAL is added to water initially while mixing the water and Gypsum plaster. The addition of just 0.5 – 1.5 % NKV HYDROSEAL related to the dry weight of plaster, reduces the water absorption significantly. It can also be sprayed on the finished surface with a concentration of 2% and allowed to react with the atmosphere for 10 days within 48 hours of application. It only covers one side of the application depending on the thickness of the surface to be applied.The Water-repellent efficiency of NKV HYDROSEAL depends on the kind of plaster, on the water / gypsum ration and on the additives such as cellulose or surfactants. This is why no general recommendation on the dosage of NKV HYDROSEAL can be given. Preliminary tests are always necessary to determine the required amount. Alkaline components of the plaster may lead to diminution of the bulk density and the water repellence plaster elements.
